Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TankWar, provided by Rainier Studio LLC ("XRainier", "we", "us"). By playing or creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

TankWar is a game with a free plan and an optional paid subscription, TankWar Pro. Single player is available without an account. Online play needs a free account. The service is offered "as is". We may change, suspend or discontinue features, maps or servers at any time.

2. Accounts

• You can sign in with Google, Apple or a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.
• Callsigns must be unique and must follow the conduct rules below. We may reset a callsign that breaks them.
• You can sign out of all devices or delete your account at any time on the account page.

3. TankWar Pro subscription

• Price and billing. TankWar Pro costs US$14.99 per year (plus any applicable tax), charged through our payment processor, Stripe, when bought on the web.
• Free trial. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, one per account. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you don't cancel, the first yearly payment is taken when the trial ends.
• Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically every year at the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you about any price change before it applies to a renewal.
• Cancel any time. Cancel in Manage subscription on the account page. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed after that.
• Refunds. If something went wrong with a charge, email [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will review it. We refund where required by law, for example under EU and UK consumer law, and for accidental renewals reported promptly.
• Keys and promotion codes. Pro keys and promotion codes add the stated Pro time or discount to one account. They have no cash value, can't be resold, and may expire or be revoked if obtained improperly.
• Apps. Pro bought on the web is linked to your account and also works in our apps. Purchases made through an app store follow that store's billing and refund terms.

4. Fair play and conduct

• No cheating, exploiting bugs, automation, tampering with network traffic or interfering with servers. The servers check movement and shots and may automatically remove players who appear to cheat.
• No harassment, hate speech, threats, impersonation or offensive callsigns in chat, voice or names.
• Do not share personal information of others.

We may filter chat, mute, kick, suspend or ban players who break these rules, with or without notice. A ban for cheating or abuse does not entitle you to a refund of a subscription.

5. Content

The game, its code, graphics and sounds belong to Rainier Studio LLC. Tank names are used descriptively for historical and educational context; TankWar is not affiliated with any manufacturer or armed force.

6. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost progress or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded. Take regular breaks.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Continued play after changes means you accept them.
